However, over time, Spider-Man begins to realize that the symbiote is actually a malevolent creature that wants to take over his body and mind. One example of a particularly dumb decision made by an MCU superhero is in "Avengers: Age of Ultron" when Tony Stark/Iron Man creates Ultron, an artificial intelligence that ultimately becomes a major threat to humanity. Despite warnings from his teammates and the ominous warnings of the Scarlet Witch's vision, Tony chooses to create Ultron in the hopes of creating a system to protect the Earth. However, his creation quickly turns on him and becomes a major threat, causing massive destruction and endangering countless lives. While Tony's intentions were noble, his decision to create Ultron without fully considering the potential consequences was a major mistake and led to a lot of unnecessary suffering.
